Frequently Asked Questions

Should I be using A film or digital camera?

A. It really doesn't matter, it depends what you want to do with the finished results. If you want to finish up with a large print 20"x24" or larger then it may be that film is your best bet. Digital cameras are fine for most things but if you want large prints then you need a camera with a high resolution. 8-12 million pixels producing a large file size (by that I don't mean a camera-phone, even if it does say 8million pixels) and these cameras are expensive but coming down in price all the time. The truth of the matter is if you are a beginner in portrait photography then it doesn't matter whether you capture your results on film or digitally as long as you can see the results and understand what you need to do to improve those results.
